Interdisciplinary unit – PHE and Language & Literature

Dear Teachers,

I am excited to share this interdisciplinary unit with you today. After an amazing IDU with the Design team with I shared here, we will now be working with Language and Literature in a movement composition unit. Students are already engaged, even before the unit starts they’ve been asking about it in the corridors. I can’t wait to share some outcomes with you in December.

Elves Tembe

My name is Elves Domingos Tembe. I am a Physical and Health Education teacher from Mozambique, currently teaching High School Health and Physical Education at the American Embassy School - New Delhi, India. Beyond teaching, I am deeply passionate about jump rope. I have had the honor of winning the World Jump Rope Championship three times, as both an athlete and a coach in 2015 (France), 2016 (Portugal), and 2017 (USA).
